While previous comparable releases in this franchise still largely used the same gameplay as the games they were based on, Survive actually implemented magnitudes more original mechanical additions of it's own (once upon a time even a single new weapon used to be a big deal).įor another example, Metal Gear Survive has come a very long way since MGSV: Ground Zeroes' pop-in issues (much more limited number of objects/personnel on screen) Survive on the other hand has by far the largest amount of immediately-fightable enemies at once during any individual instance, and on-screen, out of all of the Metal Gear franchise, making MG Survive come the closest to the original technical vision that was initially intended by Kojima for MGS2: Sons of Liberty: Metal Gear Survive is by far the most expansive and ambitious Metal Gear release in it's own class of standalone expanded releases that orbit the bigger MG releases that this supplemental class of games utilize as their technical foundation i.e., this game is to MGSV what Substance was to MGS2, etc., except by comparison to those earlier games Survive actually brings a lot more to the table such as entirely redesigned core gameplay systems, new weapons and major features, etc. This game is a bargain bin game, that was made spitefully against kojima and tries to nickel and dime players Giveaways must be authorized by the moderators.ĭo not request or give links to illegal game downloads or any other content.
